Kellogg Community College is joining Michigan Libraries for Life and Gift of Life Michigan this week in a statewide initiative to increase membership in the Michigan Organ Donor Registry.

College library staff will host an information and donor registry sign-up table in KCC’s Morris Learning Resource Center from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 6 to 7 p.m. today, Tuesday, Oct. 7, and from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. tomorrow, Wednesday, Oct. 8, to assist students, staff and community members with signing up as organ, eye and tissue donors.

All you need to sign up is your driver’s license or state ID card, and it takes less than five minutes.

Individuals who sign up as donors at KCC and registered donors who stop by the event will be given the opportunity to enter a drawing for a chance to win a free Kindle Paperwhite e-reader!
