KCC seeks art from student veterans for Veterans Art Exhibit

A sign for the Veteran's Month Art Exhibit.

Kellogg Community College is seeking art submissions from student veterans to be displayed as part of the College’s Veterans Art Exhibit in November.

Submissions are due no later than 5 p.m. Monday, Oct. 13.

The exhibit – which will coincide with a series of veteran events and initiatives held during KCC’s Veteran Month in November – will run from Nov. 3 through 28 in the Morris Learning Resource Center on the College’s campus at 450 North Ave., Battle Creek.

All drawn, painted or photographed submissions must be framed; if the work is not framed, KCC will provide modest support so that the piece may be hung appropriately. All framed submissions should be turned in at the main office of the Davidson Visual and Performing Arts Center on the North Avenue campus. Other submissions should be turned in at the Support Services office in the Student Center.

All submissions must be accompanied by a submission form, available online at http://bit.ly/veteransart.
