The total cost for the trip will be approximately $3,650, with a nonrefundable $600 deposit due Oct. 24. The remainder of fees for the course will be assessed on enrollment.

The cost of the trip covers airfare, double-occupancy accommodations, in-country guides and transportation, tips for guides and drivers, travel health insurance, some meals, and entrance fees for scheduled events. The cost does not include tuition, spending money, passport application fees or course materials.

Pre-trip meeting dates for the INTL 210 participants will be held on Fridays, Jan. 16, 23 and 30 and Feb. 6, 2015. There will also be post-trip meeting dates held on Fridays to be announced.

Travel to Cuba by U.S. citizens is generally prohibited by federal law, but students may travel under a general license exemption if traveling with an accredited academic institution. KCC is offering the trip through the Cuba Educational Exchange, a program of the Explorica educational travel and student tours company.
