If you haven’t seen “Low Country Revisited,” the latest art exhibit on display in the Eleanor R. and Robert A. DeVries Gallery in Kellogg Community College’s Davidson Visual and Performing Arts Center, you have until Friday to check it out.
The exhibit, a group photography show including work from KCC professor Ryan Flathau, runs through Friday, Dec. 12, at the gallery, which is open for free public viewing from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Mondays through Fridays.
Also featured in the exhibit are photographers Nicole Jacobs, Darrell Kincer, Gray Lyons and Linda Wilson.
Ten years after the artists’ graduation from Savannah College of Art and Design a reunion exhibition was organized called At Second Glance: SCAD Alumni Photography Exhibition, MFA Class of 2002. The show was held in 2013 at the Pei Ling Chan Gallery in Savannah, Ga. Many classmates and friends descended upon Savannah for the gallery reception, and for many this was the first time back in Savannah since graduation.
The work featured in KCC’s “Low Country Revisited” exhibition is work done in response to this return to Savannah.
