Kellogg Community College will host a Scholarship Fair from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Feb. 10, 2015, inside the Kellogg Room at KCC’s Student Center, 450 North Ave., Battle Creek.
The free event is open to the public and is designed to give area high school students, current KCC students and all prospective college students a chance to ask questions, obtain forms and fill out applications for scholarships that may be used at multiple colleges and universities. Local foundations and other scholarship-granting institutions have been invited to provide representatives and materials during the fair.
“Our goal is to connect students at all levels with alternative financial resources and options that will help them pay for their education,” said Cindy Masters, assistant director of financial aid at KCC. “Whether you’re already a college student or hoping to become one in the fall, this fair is worth checking out.”
Admission is free. Students are invited to stop in anytime between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. Feb. 10.
