Deadline for Women’s History Month Art Contest is March 20

The Student Life office at Kellogg Community College is accepting entries for the College’s Women’s History Month Art Contest until 5 p.m. this Friday, March 20.

Guidelines

KCC student artists interested in entering the art contest should submit original art focused on a woman or group of women who have inspired her or him in some way. Possible submission mediums include but are not limited to:

  • Visual art
  • Performance art
  • Essays
  • Short stories
  • Music
  • Paintings
  • Drawings
  • Sculptures
  • Mixed media
  • And more

In terms of content, art contest submissions must be kept PG-13. Participants must enter their work by 5 p.m. Friday, March 20, to be judged by the award panel.

Display and award

Art contest submissions will be displayed on the raised platform in the Student Center on the College’s North Avenue campus in Battle Creek during the final week of March. Entries will be judged by a panel from various KCC departments, which will select a winner to receive a $100 Visa gift card.
