Aaron Brown, of Battle Creek, has signed a National Letter of Intent to play men’s basketball at Kellogg Community College and will begin playing for the Bruins next season.
Brown, a two-year varsity player at Pennfield High School, was a captain his senior year, scoring 15 points per game and earning all-city, honorable-mention all-conference and Defensive Player of the Year honors.
Ben Reed, KCC’s head men’s basketball coach, said Brown will bring a welcome competitive spirit to the men’s basketball team at the College.
“Aaron is a fearless competitor who wants to get better each and every day,” Reed said. “We’re very excited to have a player that I don’t have to tell to ‘go hard, pick it up, fight.’ Aaron does these things naturally.”
