The Kellogg Community College Board of Trustees today announced it will extend its review of presidential search proposals by one month and make a final selection during a regularly scheduled meeting Sept. 16.
“Although the selection was originally scheduled for this month, trustees would like a few additional weeks to review the documents and remain diligent in the process of hiring a search firm which will help us find a new president for KCC,” said Steve Claywell, chairman of the Board of Trustees.
After a request for proposals (RFP) document was published in June, three search firms submitted proposals by the July 10 deadline. Written proposals from those three firms — the Association of Community College Trustees, Greenwood/Asher and Associates and the Pauly Group — are currently being studied and may be subject to follow-up questions from the Board. The College communicated its modified timeline with the three firms last week.
Throughout the search process, students, employees and members of the public can review various documents and sign up for email updates at Kellogg.edu/presidentsearch.
