Bruins Give Back is a great way to connect with other Kellogg Community College students and staff while serving our community.
Bruins Give Back is a collaborative program involving the College’s Service-Learning area, Student Life office and HandsOn Battle Creek. Each date – the event is held up to three times per semester – sees KCC students and employees volunteering together at locations in and around Battle Creek.
The entire KCC community is welcome to serve from 9 a.m. to noon on the campus-wide service days listed below. Past events have been located at elementary schools, community gardens, Habitat for Humanity and at various locations on campus here at KCC, to name a few.
Tentative Bruins Give Back dates — all Fridays — for the 2015-16 academic year at KCC, include:
- Sept. 25
- Oct. 30
- Nov. 20
- Feb. 26
- March 18
- April 22
Locations will be released two weeks before each event. Look for registration information on the KCC Service-Learning Web page at www.kellogg.edu/special-events or sign up in the Service-Learning office located in the Social Science Department on the first floor of the Severin Building on campus at 450 North Ave., in Battle Creek.
