KCC Jazz Band Ensemble presents Holiday Concert Dec. 1

KCC's jazz band plays in the Student Center.

Kellogg Community College’s Jazz Band Ensemble will usher in the holiday season next month with a Holiday Concert that is free and open to the public.

The concert will begin at 7:30 pm. Tuesday, Dec. 1, in the Binda Performing Arts Center, on campus at 450 North Ave., Battle Creek.

An ensemble of nearly 20 musicians participating in music through KCC’s MUSI 161/C course this fall, the KCC Jazz Band has performed free concerts on campus and off throughout the semester. The ensemble each year affords students the opportunity to develop performance skills in both contemporary and traditional jazz music.

Holiday Concert musicians, listed below by instrument, will be directed by Tom Lockwood, who will join them on piano:
