KCC to offer free appetizers at Griffin Grill & Pub Dec. 10

The first 75 people to fill out a Kellogg Community College Interest Card at Griffin Grill & Pub in Battle Creek during the College’s Appy Hour event this month will get a coupon for a free appetizer.

The KCC event will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 10, at the pub, located at 38 W. Michigan Ave. in downtown Battle Creek (pictured above). Admissions representatives from KCC, including representatives from the College’s Regional Manufacturing Technology Center, will be on hand at an information table to answer questions about the College and to hand out materials about applying to and signing up for classes at KCC.

The Appy Hour initiative is part of a Spring 2016 registration drive at the College that also includes a KCC kiosk located in the Lakeview Square Mall. Admissions reps and KCC Bruin Bookstore staff will be on hand at the kiosk for select hours through the month of December to provide information about KCC and sell KCC Bruins shirts, hats, gift cards and other items to holiday shoppers.

Students can sign up now for classes offered during KCC’s spring semester, which begins Jan. 15. New students interested in taking classes at the College must start by submitting an application for free via KCC’s website at Kellogg.edu/future-students.
