The application deadline for Kellogg Community College Foundation Scholarships for the 2016-17 academic year at KCC is Friday, March 11.
KCC Foundation scholarships are available to students who plan to enroll or are currently attending KCC. More than 100 KCC Foundation scholarships are available based on financial need, academic achievement and/or field of study, including Arts and Communication, Business and Computer-Aided Drafting and Design, Criminal Justice/Law Enforcement, Education, Health, Math and Science, Physical Education, Skilled Trades, and Social Science. Specific scholarships are also available for students from Barry and Branch counties, veteran students, nontraditional students and students age 50 and older.
All scholarship applications are given equal consideration by a scholarship committee appointed by the KCC Foundation. Applicants need only to fill out one application; scholarship committees will make the final determination of scholarship awards by matching students with specific scholarship criteria.

KCC Foundation 2016-17 Scholarships booklets including all KCC Foundation scholarship information and applications are also available in the KCC Foundation office on KCC’s North Avenue campus, 450 North Ave., Battle Creek. High school students interested in applying for the scholarships can also obtain an application from their high school counseling office.
Students who received one-year KCC Foundation scholarships for the 2015-16 academic year may reapply by submitting a new application.
Since the founding of the KCC Foundation in 1998, generous donors have made it possible to help hundreds of students realize the dream of a higher education. A nongovernmental, nonprofit 501(c)(3) with its own funds, the KCC Foundation is managed by a volunteer board of directors.
