If you’re a hands-on learner looking for a new career, start your path at Kellogg Community College’s Regional Manufacturing Technology Center.
The RMTC is home to trades and training programs that teach advanced industrial skills in high demand by employers in Southwest Michigan – jobs with great pay that need filling now.
RMTC students use state-of-the-art equipment to prepare for skilled trades careers as welders, heating and cooling technicians, electricians, machinists, tool and die makers, pipefitters, robotics technicians, machinery repair and maintenance technicians, CNC programmers, electronics technicians, and more.
KCC students at the RMTC receive hands-on, one-on-one training from instructors who are experts in their fields, with instruction offered in the RMTC’s real-world industrial environment – no classrooms required. And through the RMTC’s open-entry policy, students learn at their own pace through flexible training modules that give students control over their own schedules.
Our programs can be tailored to your unique goals, whether you’re employed and training for a new position at your current job, whether you’re a nontraditional student going back to school for more experience or a new career, or whether you’re a teen taking college classes while still in high school.
