Interested in marketing? Employees in Kellogg Community College’s Public Information and Marketing Department (pictured above) are looking for a student Marketing Intern to assist department staff with various tasks through the fall semester.
The position — which is open to KCC students only — pays $8.50 an hour. According to the official job posting on KCC’s College Central Network:
The Marketing Intern in KCC’s Public Information and Marketing Department will help the College promote the institution to a variety of audiences, including students, employees, media and the public at large. Specifically, the intern will assist PIM staff in developing content for the KCC website; creating written communications for use on multiple platforms; publicizing campus events; monitoring media coverage; and completing other tasks as assigned. The ideal candidate will be outgoing, curious, organized, deadline-oriented and meticulous about accuracy.
Skills a successful candidate must demonstrate include:
- Strength in writing and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge in publishing online content, including social media
- A history of meeting deadlines
- The ability to juggle multiple tasks at once
