Free public screening of human trafficking documentary “Break the Chain” is Oct. 13

Kellogg Community College is sponsoring a free educational public showing of the documentary film “Break the Chain” beginning at 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 13, at the Binda Performing Arts Center, on campus at 450 North Ave., Battle Creek.

“Break the Chain” is a feature-length documentary that addresses the issue of human trafficking in Michigan and elsewhere in the United States. The film covers the stories of two survivors of human trafficking and includes nearly 20 interviews with researchers, politicians, law enforcement agencies and others working to raise awareness of this global issue.
