Art by veterans sought for Veteran’s Month Creative Works Exhibit at KCC

Kellogg Community College is seeking art, writing and other creative works created by veterans to display as part of the College’s Veteran’s Month Creative Works Exhibit.

Artwork will be displayed in KCC’s Morris Learning Resource Center (LRC), which houses the College’s library, on campus at 450 North Ave., Battle Creek, from Nov. 1 through 30. Submissions of work to be considered for the exhibit must be received by Nov. 1.

Creative works/mediums that will be considered for the exhibit include, but are not limited to:

  • Clay
  • Drawings
  • Fabric/textiles
  • Jewelry
  • Memorabilia
  • Metal
  • Paintings
  • Photographs
  • Poems
  • Sculpture
  • Short stories
  • Woodworking

Veterans interested in submitting work for display in the exhibit must drop submissions off at the LRC with an accompanying submission form, which is available online at www.kellogg.edu/veterans. Submissions of drawings, paintings and photographs must be framed.

Submissions are open to KCC students, employees and community alike, but must be created by military veterans.
