Want to learn how to take better photos with your DSLR camera? Sign up for the Kellogg Community College Lifelong Learning Department’s Digital Photography: Level 1 course and learn from professional photographer John Grap!

In this course, students will learn how to take the kind of photographs worth printing and passing on to the next generation. You’ll learn:

  • The principles of good photography and the skills necessary to create amazing photos
  • The most essential functions of your digital camera and be ready confidently put them to work
  • The basics of photographic terminology and feel prepared to move on to more advanced classes
  • How to position yourself and your subject so you capture the best photo possible with the camera you have — no additional gear needed

The course instructor, professional photographer John Grap, will also share must-know lighting and composition techniques.

NOTE: This class is for users of DSLR cameras only; please bring your camera to class. There will be no class held on April 4.
