Three Kellogg Community College basketball players have received postseason awards from the Michigan Community College Athletic Association for their play during the 2016-17 season.

Men’s basketball guard Mohammed Albagami and forward Curtis Trigg, both sophomores from Battle Creek and graduates of Battle Creek Central High School, were awarded MCCAA Western Conference Honorable Mention All-Conference honors.

Women’s basketball sophomore forward/center Taylor Jungel, a Marshall High School graduate from Olivet, was awarded MCCAA Western Conference Third-Team All-Conference honors.

The men’s and women’s basketball teams wrapped up their 2016-17 season earlier this month, just as the KCC baseball and softball teams began regular season play.
