Kellogg Community College’s men’s basketball team is hosting a series of Skills & Drills Basketball Camps for youth starting this month in Battle Creek.
The camps will be led by players from KCC’s men’s basketball team and Head Men’s Basketball Coach Ben Reed and will be held at the Battle Creek Central Fieldhouse, 162 Champion St., Battle Creek. Each camp will run in two sessions, with separate camps for youth ages 7 through 11 and youth ages 12 through 16.
Upcoming basketball camp dates include:
JUNE
Monday, June 26, through Thursday, June 29
Ages 7-11: 9 a.m. to noon
Ages 12-16: 1 to 4 p.m.
Cost: $75
JULY
Sundays, July 9, 16, 23 and 30
Ages 7-11: 2 to 4 p.m.
Ages 12-16: 5 to 7 p.m.
Cost: $60
AUGUST
Monday, Aug. 7, through Thursday, Aug. 10
Ages 7-11: 9 a.m. to noon
Ages 12-16: 1 to 4 p.m.
Cost: $75
SEPTEMBER/OCTOBER
Sundays, Sept. 10, 17, 24 and Oct. 1
Ages 7-11: 2 to 4 p.m.
Ages 12-16: 5 to 7 p.m.
Cost: $60
Camp activities will focus on the fundamentals of basketball and include instruction in drills including shooting, dribbling and passing in addition to competitive games and contests.

Registration for KCC’s Skills & Drills Basketball Camps is open until the day of each session and can be completed entirely online by visiting www.kccbruinyouth.com. Registration can also be completed:
- By phone by calling KCC’s Lifelong Learning Department at 269-965-4134 and registering with a credit or debit card.
- In person at the Lifelong Learning office in room 102 of the Ohm Information Technology Center on KCC’s North Avenue campus in Battle Creek.
Camp fees include a camp T-shirt for each participant.
