KCC men’s basketball falls 99-69 to Grand Rapids Community College

KCC's 2017 men's basketball team

Kellogg Community College’s men’s basketball team lost its latest away game 99-69 Wednesday against conference opponent Grand Rapids Community College.

Head Men’s Basketball Coach Ben Reed said the Bruins played a great first half, but did not bring the same intensity and effort into the second half.

“We have to find a way to bring energy after halftime,” Reed said. “More focus and effort can give ourselves a different outcome.”

The Bruins’ next home game starts at 3 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 27, against conference opponent Lansing Community College at the Battle Creek Central Fieldhouse, 162 Champion St., Battle Creek.
