Lyndsay Smith, of Colon, has signed a National Letter of Intent to play women’s basketball at Kellogg Community College and will begin playing for the Bruins next season.
Smith, a senior at Colon Junior/Senior High School, earned high school honors including her team’s Most Valuable Player award in 2017 and Most Valuable Defensive Player award in 2016. Smith was also selected for the Sturgis Journal Dream Team.
“With her size, attitude and ability Lyndsay is going to help us get this program back to where we want it,” Head Women’s Basketball Coach Dic Doumanian said.
