7/9/18 UPDATE: Installation of the new carpeting in the KCC library is taking longer than anticipated and the library will remain closed until Wednesday, July 18. During this time, students will have access to computers in The Bridge, but there will be limited book retrieval. Thank you for your patience!

Kellogg Community College’s Emory Morris Library will be closed for the next two weeks for renovations.

The closure will temporarily limit services offered at the College’s library on campus at 450 North Ave. in Battle Creek. Library staff will be temporarily located in The Bridge in room 207 of the Ohm Information Technology Center, where they will offer limited library services from 7:45 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays through July 8.

Students will have access to computers in The Bridge, but there will be limited book retrieval during this time. Book reserves – books specifically requested by professors for use by students in their classes – will still be available.

The temporary closure will also impact staff in the College’s Center for Institutional Effectiveness, which is housed in the library. Those staff members will temporarily relocate to office space in room 105 of the C Building.
