Current and future Kellogg Community College students can complete the bulk of the enrollment processes they need to start classes at KCC this fall in one afternoon during the College’s Express Enrollment Event in July.
KCC’s Express Enrollment Event will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, July 21, on the College’s campus at 450 North Ave., Battle Creek. The event will offer students and prospective students everything they need to be prepared to start classes this fall, including financial aid assistance, placement testing, academic advising and onsite registration.
Express Enrollment Event attendees will also have an opportunity to enter a drawing for a chance to win three free credit hours at KCC.
Nikki Jewell, director of Admissions and Financial Aid at KCC, said the Express Enrollment Event is the perfect way for students to complete all of their admissions processes in one place and at one time so they can confidently begin their classes at KCC this fall.
“Starting classes at a new school can be intimidating and confusing for new students,” Jewell said. “This event is about helping students complete everything they need to accomplish in order to start classes at KCC this fall so they can focus on beginning or continuing their education.”
Individuals interested in attending the event to take advantage of the fast-track services offered should bring the following information with them:
- Academic advisors will be available to assist individuals with class selection. We recommend attendees bring transcripts from high school and all colleges attended, in addition to ACT, PSAT or SAT scores (which can be used in place of our placement test).
- Individuals interested in financial aid assistance should bring their 2016 federal tax information.
All individuals must bring a photo ID.
