Morgan Walton, of Centreville, has signed a National Letter of Intent to play women’s basketball at Kellogg Community College and will begin playing for the Bruins this season.
Walton, a 2018 graduate of Centreville High School, graduated with high honors and nine varsity letters. Also a member of KCC’s women’s cross-country team, Walton was a state qualifier for Centreville’s cross-country team in 2017 and was a member of the school’s state-championship-winning softball team this past spring.
A member of the National Honor Society, Walton also earned Academic All-State honors while in high school, and participated in freshman mentoring.
“Morgan is exactly what we are looking for as a Lady Bruin,” Head Women’s Basketball Coach Dic Doumanian said. “A great person and student that can help us be successful on the basketball court.”
