Kellogg Community College’s women’s basketball team lost its first game of the season 77-62 against Delta College Saturday in University Center.
Leading the Bruins on the court were sophomore DeeDee Post, who had 14 points and 6 rebounds; sophomore Destiny Kincaide, who had 12 points; and freshman Bri Abercrombie, who had 10 points and 6 rebounds.
“Obviously not the way we wanted to start, but I saw a lot of positives and liked our effort,” Head Women’s Basketball Coach Dic Doumanian said. “Looking forward to getting better this week and playing our first home game in the brand new Miller Building at 5:30 p.m. Friday as part of a doubleheader with the men.”
The Bruins’ first home game ever in KCC’s new Miller Physical Education Building starts at 5:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 9, against Milwaukee Area Technical College.
All home games at KCC are free to attend.
