Jamari Newell, of Flint, has signed a National Letter of Intent to play men’s basketball at Kellogg Community College and will begin playing for the Bruins next season.
Newell is a graduate of Beecher High School, where he was a member of the team through two state championship seasons. He also played basketball for a year at Grays Harbor College in Aberdeen, Washington.
“Jamari brings championship experience to our program,” KCC’s Head Men’s Basketball Coach Gary Sprague said. “His maturity, experience and skills will make us tough to beat.”
