Glen Oaks Community College’s women’s volleyball team sits at first place in the Michigan Community College Athletic Association’s Western Conference after winning in straight sets against Kellogg Community College Tuesday.
It was a home match for the Bruins, with final scores of 25-13, 25-20 and 25-21.
Head Women’s Volleyball Coach Tom VanWienen said the team had a tough first set against a very aggressive team, but started to play well in sets two and three.
“Still looking for the combination where we can put it all together,” VanWienen said. “Proud of the ladies as they keep fighting in every match.”
