Kellogg Community College invites the public to participate in the College’s seventh annual Chili Cook-off to benefit the United Way.
The Chili Cook-off will run from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 24, in the Kellogg Room in the Student Center at KCC’s campus at 450 North Ave., Battle Creek. The event will include eight to 10 different chili recipes prepared by KCC employees. For $5, patrons can sample all of the chili and vote for their three favorite entries.
All money raised during the event will go to the United Way of the Battle Creek and Kalamazoo Region to support the organization’s 2019 fundraising campaign.
KCC employees have participated in the United Way campaign on an organizational level for nearly three decades, and the College’s annual Chili Cook-off is one of several fundraising initiatives KCC employees participate in to benefit the United Way each year.
