Veterans Day will be commemorated by Kellogg Community College in a ceremony from noon to 1 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 7.

The event will happen in the Student Center on KCC’s campus at 450 North Ave., Battle Creek. It is organized by the KCC 1st Battalion Support Division, a veterans assistance group on campus.

During the ceremony, free lunch vouchers for the Bruin Bistro, provided by the KCC Foundation, will be available for veterans at the Support Services desk. The Support Services Department is located in the Student Center.

Veterans Day, annually observed each Nov. 11, is a federal holiday to remember all those who served in the United States Armed Forces.
