The Kellogg Community College women’s basketball team lost at its latest home game 69-60 against conference opponent Kalamazoo Valley Community College on Wednesday.
Leading the Bruins on the court were sophomore Brianna Abercrombie, who had 11 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists; freshman Audrey DeWaters, who had 15 points and 6 rebounds; and freshman Kalista Hubbart, who had 11 points.
“Our struggles on the offensive end of the court returned tonight as we struggled to hit open shots and had too many turnovers,” Head Women’s Basketball Coach Dic Doumanian said. “KCC returns to action at 1 p.m. on Saturday at Glen Oaks Community College. Go Lady Bruins!”
The recent loss for the Lady Bruins’ brings their overall record for the season to 7-6; the team’s conference record is 1-1.
