The Kellogg Community College women’s basketball team lost at its latest away game against Grand Rapids Community College 67-47 on Monday .
Leading for the Bruins were freshman Audrey DeWaters, with 18 points; freshman Lexi Parsons; with 13 points and Freshman Taeshawn Roberson; who had 10 points.
“We got outworked against a scrappy GRCC team as they beat us on the boards and the scoreboard.” Said Head Women’s Basketball Coach Dic Doumanian. “With the loss, we are now tied with GRCC for third place in the Western Conference. We are back home Saturday vs. Lansing at 1 pm. Go Lady Bruins!”
The recent loss brings the Bruins’ overall record for the season so far to 11-8; the team’s conference record is 5-3.
The team’s next game is away in Donaldson, Indiana against conference opponent Ancilla College; Wednesday, January. 29 starting at 5:30 p.m.
