Kellogg Community College invites members of the public to provide their insight as the College develops an institutional strategic plan geared toward student success.
As part of the planning process this winter, KCC is asking a variety of stakeholders in a series of input sessions what they believe student success looks like, what they believe the College does well and what they believe should be the institution’s priorities in the next three to five years. At each session, participants will be asked to respond to specific questions about the College and discuss their ideas with other participants.
Two input sessions are scheduled for the purpose of gathering the community’s input. The sessions, which are open to the public, will occur at:
- 5:15 p.m. March 3 inside the Kellogg Room at KCC
- 5:15 p.m. March 4 inside the Kellogg Room at KCC
The Kellogg Room is located in the KCC Student Center, 450 North Ave., Battle Creek. KCC personnel will facilitate each 90-minute session. Light refreshments will be available.
Space is limited, so attendees are asked to RSVP by email to swat@kellogg.edu. Requests for accommodations can be submitted as part of the RSVP.
The sessions will provide meaningful feedback and complement additional research regarding the institution and its service area as KCC’s leaders, including President Adrien Bennings and the Board of Trustees, chart the College’s future over the next three years.
“Kellogg Community College is on a mission to help students succeed,” Dr. Bennings said. “As we build upon achievements and engage with students, employees, trustees, donors, organizational partners and taxpayers, we will keep student success in the forefront. Ultimately, we will have a plan that is strategic, well informed, actively engaged and tenable.”
