KCC’s Frazee wins men’s title at NJCAA cross country regional in Lansing

KCC's 2020 men's cross country team.

Kellogg Community College men’s cross country runner Brian Frazee continued a strong freshman year with a first-place finish at the team’s regional meet Saturday in Lansing.

The win by Frazee (Watervliet/Home School) brings KCC its third individual regional men’s title in as many years since the College’s men’s and women’s cross country teams began competing in the fall of 2018. KCC’s Kyle Strong won back-to-back men’s regional titles in 2018 and 2019.

This weekend’s National Junior College Athletic Association Region XII Division III Cross Country Championship was held at Grand Woods Park in Lansing, and doubled as the Michigan Community College Athletic Association’s state/league championship meet. KCC’s men’s team only ran four runners and thus couldn’t score as a team in either race.
