Kellogg Community College’s women’s and men’s bowling teams earned second and third place finishes out of five teams each in their respective competitions at their latest conference invitational Friday, hosted by Jackson College at University Lanes in Albion.
The women’s team was led by freshman Jazlyn Lotz, whose individual series score of 540 was good for second place overall in the women’s competition.
The men’s team was led by freshman Jacob O’Donnell, who took sixth overall in the men’s competition with a series score of 608.
“The teams have had some bright spots but have not been able to put it all together,” Head KCC Bowling Coach Brad Morgan said. “We will be working this week to clean up our games to accomplish our goals for this season.”
The Bruins return to the road Friday for the Glen Oaks Community College Invitational in Centreville. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, no spectators will be allowed.
