Two new Physical Education degrees coming to KCC this fall

Students interested in a pursuing a career in physical education can do so via two new associate degree programs coming to KCC this fall.

The College’s new Associate in Applied Science in Exercise Science and Associate in Applied Science in Sports Management degree programs were approved by the Board of Trustees in October and will soon begin accepting applicants for the Fall 2021 semester.

Each degree path consists of 60 credit hours of coursework designed to be completed on a two-year timeline. Graduates can transfer to a four-year institution to continue toward a bachelor’s degree in the same or similar field of study or immediately enter into a career in fields including commercial recreation, physical education and/or the fitness industry.
