KCC’s men’s basketball team signs Keelan Stricklen, of Eastpointe

Keelan Stricklen signs his Letter of Intent at KCC while surrounded by family members.

Keelan Stricklen, of Eastpointe, has signed a National Letter of Intent to play basketball for Kellogg Community College and will begin competing for the Bruins this fall as part of the College’s men’s basketball team.

Stricklen is an honor roll student who was a First Team All-Conference player on both the Eastpointe basketball and soccer teams his senior year, and was Honorable Mention All-Conference his junior year.

Head KCC Basketball Coach Gary Sprague said the Bruins are very excited to have Stricklen join the team.

“Keelan is talented in all phases of the game, ball-handling, shooting and defending,” Sprague said. “A 6-3 man who can play point guard is a huge addition.”

KCC’s men’s basketball team opted out of the 2020-21 season due to COVID-19. The team finished the 2019-20 season fourth place in the conference, making it to the second round of postseason play.
