Jarod Hubbard, of Mattawan, has signed a National Letter of Intent to play basketball for Kellogg Community College and will begin competing for the Bruins this fall as part of the College’s men’s basketball team.
Hubbard graduated magna cum laude this spring from Mattawan High School, where he earned All-Conference Honorable Mention and Academic All-State honors.
“I am very excited to add Jarod to our team,” KCC’s Head Men’s Basketball Coach Gary Sprague said. “He is an outstanding three-point shooter and has a good set of post moves. Weights and sprints will tap unlimited potential.”
KCC’s men’s basketball team opted out of the 2020-21 season due to COVID-19. The team finished the 2019-20 season fourth place in the conference, making it to the second round of postseason play.
