KCC to sponsor Bring Color Back 5K color run Aug. 20 in Battle Creek

Kellogg Community College is helping “bring color back” to Battle Creek this month as a sponsor of the Bring Color Back 5K color run Aug. 20.

The run will begin and end at the Battle Creek Family YMCA, 182 Capital Ave. NE, starting at 5 p.m. Friday, Aug. 20. Registration can be completed entirely online at https://runsignup.com/Race/MI/BattleCreek/BringingColorBack5K.

The registration fee for those who register by Aug. 15 is $30, which includes a race T-shirt. Late registration is available from Aug. 16 through 19, but a T-shirt for late registrations is not guaranteed. Day-of registration Aug. 20 is $40, also with no guarantee of a T-shirt.

Race Route

The Bring Color Back 5K is an out-and-back run that will begin on Penn Street just south of Clay Street, with the bulk of the run taking place on Van Buren Street parallel to the Battle Creek river (see map below).
