Registration for classes offered during Kellogg Community College’s Spring 2022 semester opens this month online and in-person at all five KCC campus locations.

The spring semester includes more than 600 sections of classes across academic and occupational program disciplines, leading to more than three dozen KCC associate degree programs, 25 certificate programs and countless opportunities for transfer paths to majors at four-year colleges and universities.

Starting Monday, Oct. 25, current and prospective students can sign up for classes via the College’s website. Registration information, including links to instructions, policies, tuition and fees and other information, is available at

In-person registration and assistance will be available on the College’s North Avenue and Regional Manufacturing Technology Center campuses in Battle Creek; Eastern Academic Center campus in Albion; Grahl Center campus in Coldwater; and Fehsenfeld Center campus in Hastings.

Nearly 5,000 students enrolled at KCC for the current Fall 2021 semester, a 13% increase over last year’s fall enrollment and an upward trend the College hopes to see continue through this winter and spring. The increased enrollment for the fall includes nearly 600 students enrolled as part of the state’s Futures for Frontliners program and 336 enrolled as part of the state’s Michigan Reconnect program; both programs offer free in-district tuition for eligible students who meet various guidelines.

Spring semester students are asked to plan their class schedules ahead, as seats in each class are limited and offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Those interested in securing a seat in a specific class are encouraged to register as soon as possible to reserve their space.

Specific courses offered at KCC during the spring semester can be viewed by visiting, clicking on “Class Schedules” at the top of the page and filtering results by semester.

The first classes of Kellogg Community College’s Spring 2022 semester begin Jan. 18, 2022, and the semester runs through May 9.

Students new to KCC must fill out an application and verify residency before signing up for classes. Admissions applications can be completed for free online at

New Programming
