The Kellogg Community College Foundation is seeking nominations for recipients of the College’s KCC Alumni Awards.
KCC Alumni Awards recognize former Kellogg Community College students who have made outstanding strides in their professional field, enriched their community and supported KCC.
To qualify for a KCC Alumni Award, the nominee must:
- Have earned a minimum of 12 credits from Kellogg Community College
- Demonstrate outstanding service or enrichment to their community
- Have provided support for the College while a student and beyond via financial contributions, partnership, volunteer services or other support
Nominations are open through March 20 and can be completed online at bit.ly/KCCAlumAwards22.
“We are proud to offer the KCC Alumni Awards program to promote the good work and accomplishments of alumni who are carrying out the College’s mission for excellence and making a positive difference in the world,” KCC President Dr. Adrien Bennings said. “This program also creates an avenue for us to connect and engage with more KCC Bruins and highlight the educational value of Kellogg Community College.”
Alumni may not nominate themselves for an award, but there is no limit on the number of nominations one can submit.
Once a nomination has been received, the KCC Foundation will reach out to the nominee to gather additional information. Applications will be reviewed by a committee comprised of KCC faculty and staff, a Foundation board member, former award recipients and KCC alumni. Nominees will be announced in early April, with the recipient(s) to be announced at the College’s Outstanding Bruin Awards ceremony on April 26.
