KCC math instructor elected president of Michigan Math Association

KCC math instructor David Tannor has been elected President-Elect of the Michigan Mathematical Association of Two-Year Colleges and began his President-Elect term June 1.

The MichMATYC is a state section of the American Mathematical Association of Two-Year Colleges, an organization dedicated to the development and advocacy of mathematics education and faculty in the first two years of college. KCC math professor Anna Cox held the position from 2016-19.
