Ever wanted to try your hand at acting or stage design? Or simply want to learn a little more about the performing arts? Experience theatre by adding a KCC Theatre class to your schedule at Kellogg Community College this fall!
Here’s a list of KCC Theatre classes offered this fall semester (click through the links to view each course description in KCC’s Academic Catalog):
- THEA 121: Theatre Appreciation 1 (three credits, starts Aug. 30)
- THEA 125: Stagecraft 1 (three credits, starts Sept. 7)
- THEA 218: Acting 1 (three credits, starts Aug. 29)
- THEA 220: Acting 2 (three credits, starts Aug. 29)
KCC Theatre students broaden their horizons and enhance their confidence, communication, leadership and personal marketability skills for the world beyond the stage. Theatre and film are collaborative efforts that require all types of people with all types of talents and interests to create a meaningful process and powerful end product.
Through working and communicating with all types of personalities in a creative, deadline-based process, theatre studies serve as highly accessible, experiential training grounds for life in the workforce at large. KCC Theatre studies help prepare students for careers in the arts and for transfer to other arts programs at four-year schools.
