Congratulations to Dr. Gerald Case-Blanchard, professor of vocal music and music area coordinator at Kellogg Community College, who was honored recently with a 2022 Community Arts Award from the Arts Council of Greater Kalamazoo.
Case-Blanchard was awarded the Arts Council’s Gayle Hoogstraten Arts Leadership Award in the Educator category, which recognizes a “leader in the arts and/or the education community with an impact beyond his/her job description, a strong impact on the community through art, and positive and productive relationships in the community outside of his/her institution,” according to the Arts Council.
Case-Blanchard was formally recognized during a ceremony Dec. 7 at the Gull Lake Center for the Fine Arts in Richland.
