The Kellogg Community College Concert Band will present its annual holiday concert the first weekend in December in Battle Creek.
The KCC Concert Band, performing under the baton of Director Christopher Momcilovich, will present its “Dazzling Holidays” concert starting at 3 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 3, in the Binda Performing Arts Center on campus at 450 North Ave.
The event is free and open to the public.
This year’s concert showcases a variety of holiday favorites symbolizing the spirit of the season. Selections range from the vibrant “The Christmas March,” arranged by John Cacavas, to the playful “I Want a Hippopotamus for Christmas,” arranged by James Kazik, with each piece reflecting the Concert Band’s diverse talents and commitment to musical excellence.
The Concert Band is also recruiting experienced musicians for the upcoming winter/spring semester concert season, which begins Jan. 16. Individuals can sign up for the Concert Band course MUSI 160 (for credit) or MUSI 160C (non-credit) to join the ensemble.
