Stress Busters Week f0r students returns to KCC Dec. 4-8!
Stress Busters is a biannual initiative with several on-campus events and activities designed to help students de-stress and take a break from studying as final exams approach. See a list of this semester’s events and activities below.

Bear Necessities
All week long
A livestream of our favorite fat bears from Katmai Alaskan Nature Preserve will be playing on the TV in the Kellogg Room to provide positive and calm vibes for those who need a breather.
Calm Coloring
All week long
Throughout the Kellogg Room and Student Center, students will find crayons and coloring books to take a quick break at any point during the week.
Re-Center Breathing Exercises
All week long
Across all KCC campuses, students will find various posters giving instructions on 30-second or less activities to help them get their heads back in the (study) game.
PJs & Hot Cocoa Day
11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday, Dec. 4
Start the week off cozy in your snuggliest PJs and tackle your study sessions in comfort! Students are encouraged to wear some warm PJs to school (as long as class preparation allows) and join the first-year Student Leadership Institute cohort as they host a Hot Cocoa bar in the Student Center. Make a cup and top it with various sweets and soak up some holiday vibes.
Play with PTK
8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday, Dec. 4
Our Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society wants to send you on a quick trip down memory lane with some nostalgic games and toys! There will be activities and trinkets throughout the Student Center for students looking to take a study break and sink a battle ship, feed a hungry hippo or add to their Sillybandz collection.
Faculty, Flapjacks & Finals
10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 5
Students are invited to visit the Kellogg Room and get a belly full of breakfast fresh from the griddles and spatulas of KCC’s fabulous faculty!
The Free Store

Our Environmental Club has been hard at work collecting donations of clothes, books, toys, household goods and more just in time for some holiday “shopping”! Stop by the Kellogg Room to pick out some gifts for your friends and family, all 100% FREE!
National Cotton Candy Day
11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 7
Stop by the Student Center to celebrate this national holiday with some fresh-spun cotton candy and a study break fueled by sugar!
