The next Bruins Give Back volunteer service event of Kellogg Community College’s Spring 2024 semester will be held from 9 to 11 a.m. Friday, April 19, at the Calhoun County Medical Care Facility.
A campus-wide service initiative of the College’s Service-Learning Office, Bruins Gives Back brings KCC students and employees together in service through volunteering at locations in and around Battle Creek.
During this month’s event, KCC volunteers will help the Calhoun County Medical Care Facility with indoor planting and complete other tasks as needed. The organization is located at 1150 E. Michigan Ave. in Battle Creek.
Bruins Give Back is generally held on Fridays up to three times per semester, and past events have been located at elementary schools, community gardens and at various locations on campus at KCC, to name a few.
The next event will be held May 24 at the Battle Creek Outdoor Education Center.
All KCC students and employees are invited to serve at this and future Bruins Give Back events, and can sign up online via the form available at https://forms.office.com/Pages/ResponsePage.aspx?id=7n1B8nqxmU2AuHZxT3slWahmTl08IhVPme6pbeKysJ5URUdLMFc0VlZRWE5VRU1NWEhKMTZaUlRCTi4u.
