Kellogg Community College will celebrate the accomplishments of more than 1,100 candidates for graduation during its 66th commencement ceremony this month in Battle Creek.
The commencement program will begin at 7 p.m. Thursday, May 9, at Kellogg Arena, 36 W. Hamblin Ave., Battle Creek, and will include addresses from KCC staff and trustees as well as remarks from KCC President Dr. Paul R. Watson II and a 2024 candidate for graduation as commencement speaker.
The commencement ceremony, in which approximately 400 candidates for graduation have signed up to participate, is open to graduates, candidates and their guests; no tickets are required. Arena doors will open to guests at 6 p.m.
KCC’s 2024 commencement ceremony will celebrate the accomplishments of 1,164 graduation candidates from four semesters at KCC, including Summer 2023, Fall 2023, Spring 2024 and Summer 2024. The Class of 2024 is the 66th graduating class at KCC, which was founded in 1956.
