The Bruins open the season with a series of scrimmages before season play begins in earnest with a series of away matches late this month. Fans can get a preview of the team in action at the team’s home scrimmage against St. Clair County Community College starting at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 21, at the gym. A scrimmage against Great Lakes Christian College will follow at 3:30 p.m.
Admission to all KCC home games is free.
The women’s volleyball team ended last year’s season in the district tournament. The team finished the season with an even 6-6 conference record and a winning 17-14 record overall.
