The Spring 2025 Semester

In total, KCC is offering nearly 300 courses this spring – including more than 130 online courses – in addition to hundreds of Industrial Trades training modules, several cohorts of CNA training, workforce training opportunities and more. The semester begins Jan. 21 and runs through May 12.

Students interested in taking online classes beyond what’s offered on campus can still utilize resources at the physical Eastern Academic Center – including open computer labs, free Wi-Fi and more – to complete their studies.

Students are encouraged to sign up for classes as soon as possible because space is limited and many classes fill up by the start of the semester.

KCC consistently ranks as the top college destination for local graduates within the College’s districts in Calhoun, Barry and Branch counties, serving more new graduates than any other college or university in the state. The College was again ranked the No. 1 best community college in Michigan and among the top 3% of community colleges across the U.S. by financial services company WalletHub last summer.

Tuition Discounts

A continuing opportunity for students considering continuing their education this spring is the popular Michigan Reconnect program, which allows eligible students ages 21 and up without a degree to take classes for free or with significantly discounted tuition.

Students ages 21 to 24 are particularly encouraged to apply for the Michigan Reconnect program now, as the state’s expansion opening applications to this age group is only anticipated to last till Dec. 31

Interested individuals should visit kellogg.edu/reconnect for details or contact the KCC Financial Aid Office at 269-965-4123 or finaid@kellogg.edu.

Also available is the Community College Guarantee, which covers tuition and mandatory fees for eligible students who graduated from high school in 2023 or later. Interested individuals should visit kellogg.edu/ccg for more information.
