The curtain rises on a deadly secret this month as Kellogg Community College Theatre brings the suspense-filled “Rehearsal for Murder” to the Binda Performing Arts Center in Battle Creek.
Adapted from the hit 1980s made-for-TV murder-mystery, “Rehearsal for Murder” offers audiences a thrilling blend of drama, deception and clever twists. The story follows a playwright who gathers his cast and crew for what seems like a simple script read-through, until it becomes clear he has a far darker purpose: to uncover the truth behind the mysterious death of his leading lady.
Performances will be held in KCC’s Binda Performing Arts Center, 450 North Ave., Battle Creek, at the following times:
- 7:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 14
- 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 15
- 3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 16
- 7:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 21
- 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 22
- 3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 23
Tickets are $10 for students, KCC employees, seniors and members of the U.S. military, and $15 for the general public. Tickets can be purchased in advance online at kelloggcommunitycollege.ludus.com or at the door before each performance as supplies last.
Seating is limited – audience members will be seated onstage in close proximity to the actors – so advance reservations are encouraged.
Please note: The production includes themes and content equivalent to a PG-13 film and features live blank gunfire onstage.
